How to create custom Klaviyo flows:

Klaviyo’s the go to solution for a CRM on Shopify. It just keeps getting more & more sophisticated, and it plugs into all of your favorite apps. So don’t look elsewhere - Klaviyo’s your go-to.

Once you’ve installed it, use it to create complex flows to activate or onboard new customers, entice prospects and retain existing customers. Those flows can be built in such a way where you’ve got A/B tests running, multiple follow-ups based on conditions and can trigger based on specific events. There is science & strategy to the madness here. Take the time to write down your ideal journeys on pen & paper before you start building flows. What’s more is that Klaviyo now has an SMS offering - so you can replicate a lot of the email flows into SMS format.

All of the above is tricky. Especially if you’re leveraging customer data collected at different parts of your funnel and from different apps. Once you have data pulling in, you can get involved in “dynamic creative” to show personalized emails to every unique customer. This requires code.

Finally, you want your emails to look and feel like your brand. For that you need custom templates and you’ll most likely require an email developer to custom code those emails. It’s a niche skill-set, but we’ve got you covered on Storetasker for that.

To recap: Strategy, flows, app connections, testing, creative and templating are all a part of a robust Klaviyo setup. It can be extremely time consuming and tedious if you don’t know your way around the platform. You can work with us to get it done properly. One more thing. I love seeing the immediate impact on sales when set-it and forget-it Klaviyo automated flows are added to a Shopify store. Taking it to the next level by adding personalization to campaigns or flow emails creates a deeper connection to your subscribers and customers.

For example, integrating with other apps like loyalty apps, review apps, quiz apps, creating conditional flows based on subscriber behaviour, and using dynamic code to "show or hide" content creates a relevant experience for your audience. It does take a bit of coding and that's where I can help.
