How long have you been on Storetasker, and what type of work do you typically do?

I’ve been on Storetasker for about 4 years, specializing in full-stack Shopify development with a strong focus on optimizing back-end workflows to save teams countless hours and enhancing on-site conversions to drive meaningful growth.

My work includes e-commerce platform migrations, custom theme/app development, UX/UI & CRO strategy, business strategy, and tech integrations.

What are three of the best clients you’ve worked with via Storetasker?

I’ve been fortunate to work with many great clients, but some highlights include Dermalogica, Rareform and Grubbly Farms.

That said, every client/project brings something unique, and I always appreciate working with clients who value quality and innovation.

What does a typical workday look like for you? Do you have any routines or habits that help you stay productive?

I keep my routine simple but effective. My day usually starts with coffee and a morning walk to clear my head before diving into work. I hit the gym regularly because it helps me stay focused and maintain energy levels throughout the day. When I’m at my desk, I like to have jazz or lofi music playing in the background to keep me in the zone. Productivity-wise, I rely on structured to-do lists and time-blocking to keep projects on track.

What do you love most about freelancing, and what keeps you motivated?

The ability to choose who I work with is one of the biggest perks. I love collaborating with great clients, solving complex challenges, and seeing the direct impact of my work on their businesses. There’s something incredibly rewarding about launching a project and knowing it’s driving real results. That sense of accomplishment, along with the continuous learning that comes with it, keeps me motivated.

What’s the biggest challenge of freelancing, and how do you navigate it?

Time management is the biggest challenge, especially when juggling multiple clients and projects. To stay on top of everything, I plan my week every Sunday evening and break tasks down into daily to-do lists. Prioritization is key. I focus on high-impact tasks first while ensuring I leave room for deep work. Having clear boundaries and structured workflows helps maintain a healthy balance.

What’s been your experience like on Storetasker? The network, the support, the leads, the platform, etc.?

My experience on Storetasker has been nothing short of amazing. The platform has played a huge role in shaping my career, and I’m grateful for the opportunities it has provided. The quality of leads is excellent, and the support from both the Storetasker team and the freelancer community is top-notch. Many of the people I’ve met through the platform have become friends, which speaks to the strength of the network.

What advice do you have for new freelancers?

Start by niching down and focusing on a skill you’re really good at and understand deeply. From there, learn how to sell your expertise. I’ve found that consultative selling works best:

  • Ask the right questions to understand your client’s pain points and goals.
  • Provide real value by offering solutions that genuinely improve their business.
  • Empathize, advise and advocate. Clients want to work with someone who not only understands their needs but also cares about their success.

If you combine technical expertise with strong communication and problem-solving skills, freelancing can be incredibly rewarding. Oh and join Storetasker, it helps
