TEAK BEAUTY NEEDED A CREATIVE E-COMMERCE MANAGER TO REDESIGN THEIR SHOPIFY SITE AHEAD OF A MAJOR PRODUCT LAUNCH
About Teak Beauty: Teak Beauty is a direct-to-consumer beauty brand specializing in lipsticks and lip care products. The brand focuses on clean, elevated aesthetics and thoughtful formulations, creating products that celebrate natural beauty and personal expression.
The project: Teak Beauty wanted to restructure their Shopify site from individual product pages per shade to a formula-based approach with shade variants, while seamlessly integrating new photography libraries and features ahead of their October launch.
We matched them with e-commerce managers who had a strong aesthetic sensibility, understood beauty brand requirements, and could balance creative direction with technical Shopify implementation during a time-sensitive product launch.
The challenge was finding someone who could not only handle the technical migration but also curate imagery, design page flows, and ensure the site felt cohesive and aligned with Teak's elevated brand guidelines—all while coordinating with developers and a 3PL provider.
Teak Beauty chose Amy Vergeront, an e-commerce manager with a refined eye for design, who led the site migration to a streamlined variant structure, curated three photography libraries across product pages, and coordinated the technical buildout for launch.
Amy restructured the entire site from having individual product pages for each lipstick shade to a cleaner formula-based system where customers could select shades as variants—matching industry best practices and improving the shopping experience.
