How to customize Recharge

We’re big fans of Recharge. They’ve taken a lot of headache out subscription on Shopify. And now with Shopify 2.0, Recharge seamlessly integrates with the new checkout so customers can always stay on your domain and won’t be redirected to Recharge.

But Recharge is built with developers in mind, because they know that merchants will care for customizations. Sometimes as a merchant, you want to have custom “bundle” functionality within Recharge & that requires extra code. Sometimes you just don’t like the way the “subscribe” button looks on your page. And oftentimes you want to customize the “subscription management” experience that subscribers see, that all requires code. We can help with that. I’ve worked on a number of the Recharge customizations. Most of the time is spent customizing and implementing the account / membership pages via the recharge theme engine. On the customer facing side, it’s straightforward to apply custom javascript and CSS to customize the main recharge widget on product pages.
