How to customize Loox reviews

Loox is one of the most popular review solutions out there. It’s used by over 100,000 Shopify stores, so you’re in good hands there. Reviews are so crucial for your business, and adding an app like Loox is one of the first things you should think about when launching your store. Reviews increase your conversion rate, and also create a seamless feedback loop between you and your customers.

At Storetasker, we’ve helped a lot of merchants implement Loox into their store. It’s not overly complex to implement it on your own, but where it gets tricky is in the customization to match the look and feel of your store. If you want your store to feel professional and sleek, then you probably need some CSS & Javascript magic applied to your Loox reviews. It’s a no-brainer investment if you care about your brand and want to increase your conversion rate.

Here is an example of a custom loox implementation with Hapa Kristin. The colors match, the positioning neatly fits in their custom theme. You could do something similar.

How do you generate more reviews?

Generating more reviews typically comes down to optimizations in terms of when you ask someone for a review. For example, if you ask for a review too quickly after a customer places their order they may have not even received or experienced the product yet.

That's why you have tools like Wonderment and others to keep track of your outbound orders and their status of arrival. When you have those events firing properly, you can trigger clever Klaviyo flows to prompt a customer to drop a review.

But beyond those technicalities, the more your customers see other customers dropping reviews, the more inclined they will become to drop a review of their own. So having walls of reviews like the one above is a nice way to create that sense of community.

But your wall of love isn't the only asset you have to showcase reviews. You can also leverage your instagram page or your tik tok page for example. To do that effectively you can partner up with experts like The Social Shepherd (social media agency) or even Mayple (marketer marketplace).
