The Builder & Storetasker partnership

It seems like Builder is taking over the world. A lot of the great eCommerce brands of our day are leveraging their tech, primarily to create beautiful and headless landing pages to convert traffic driven via paid advertising.

Those landing pages do require developers to get involved, most often to code custom sections that can be reused across multiple pages.  And that’s exactly why we’ve partnered with Builder. Storetasker is now providing developer support to all Shopify merchants leveraging Builder. Hire our developers by the hour or on a project basis based on your requirements.

And for those who lack a bit of context on Builder, here’s a breakdown of:

  1. What makes Builder unique
  2. How to integrate Builder to Shopify
  3. Finding a specialized Builder & Shopify developer

What makes Builder unique

Historically, when you ran ads on paid social, you either drove traffic directly to your website or you drove traffic to a dedicated landing page.

The benefits of driving to a landing page were that you controlled the path to conversion a lot more and had the flexibility to iterate quite quickly on your designs. If instead you drove traffic to your site, changing up a page might require a lot more development resources and consideration.

So landing pages are a good solution to maximize efficiency in your marketing efforts. However, old-school landing page builders often lack flexibility in what your designs can look like. They can also run a little slow, and many times the checkout experience isn’t seamless as it's not always properly connected to the Shopify checkout.

And Builder solves for all of that. They’ve developed a headless platform with a visual no-code editor that massively increases your site load speeds, and also gives your developers unlimited flexibility from a design standpoint.

But it doesn’t stop there. On top of all that, Builder is fully integrated to Shopify via their native app and has a super intuitive A/B testing layer to it. So you can change up CTAs, headlines, etc - all on the fly. You can also track your performance via native heatmaps - no need to install extra apps on top of it.

How to integrate Builder to Shopify

First, download the app via the Shopify App store and set up your account. Most of the rest of the setup and connection happens inside of Builder when you launch your templates.

Your templates are the foundation for your pages. You can create landing pages here, or even build out your home page or a product page. Builder’s got great templates of their own to start with, but you can also start from scratch and use their interface of tools and widgets to build out your template.

Once you’ve built those out, if you decide to leverage the custom sections or pages you’ve built out in Builder into your Shopify store directly - that’s easy: Just create a section/model inside Builder and apply the liquid tag it generates into your theme code wherever you want the section to appear.

Alternatively, if you want to leave your Shopify store untouched and just launch landing pages, build everything out with a developer directly inside Builder.

Finding a specialized Builder & Shopify developer
